This was on my safe list, but my scalp has never itched as severely as it did after one use of this. I'm assuming I'm allergic to an ingredient that I wasn't tested for.

Not sure why this is not on my safe list- am allergic to cocamidyl propyl betaine and cocamide DEA, Thiuram mix, fragrance , latex, mold, and maybe octinoxate. It looks like sucrose cocoate in it may be related to couple of these allergens but not sure if it is this or something else in it or if I can try it. Have dandruff and dry itchy rashy skin looking for safe shampoo regular or dandruff. Thanks

Hair is so knotted while using this. You have to use a lot of conditioner to be able to comb it after.

This actually seems to be one of the only shampoos that I can use that doesn't give me a rash. Glad I gave it a try even though skin safe thinks it's not safe for me.

I will only be using this as my shampoo. My scalp is PERFECT. And my back is CLEAR too. I’m upset I suffered so long with chronic scalp dermatitis / eczema, (and terrible back acne). I thought my scalp issues were genetic, as my older sister and brother both have scalp dermatitis as well. I can’t believe it was caused from the prior shampoos & conditioners I was using. (and necklaces. Possibly, laundry detergent). No more patches of flakes that peel off, no more angry red borders/edges, no more “weeping scalp” either (I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but if it helps anyone else... I use to wake up with “stiff hair” (straw-like) at the base of my scalp. It was from where my scalp oozed at night and then dried. I had fear of anyone seeing my scalp. I knew I’d never wear a pony tail. My scalp is BEAUTIFUL now. The best part, I’m NOT using a single medicated product, nor prescriptions anymore. NOT ONE! Just this shampoo and their conditioner. I noticed my back became clear and beautiful too. No more giant cysts and tiny pimples all over it. I don’t have to worry about what outfit or shirt I will wear to cover it too. I can’t believe these horrible skin issues were caused by something I was buying/spending money on. Think about that. (Also, I STOPPED wearing shiny metal NECKLACES. I don’t wear the overpriced “jewelry party” necklaces or ones from Macy’s anymore. And I won’t touch forever 21, Claire’s, icing, etc either. A day of wearing a necklace, will never be worth the weeks and weeks of pimples on my back. It was hard to give up at first, but I would *NEVER* let my scalp and back look the way it did before. This was too easy eliminating things. Plus, I don’t waste money on products to treat the conditions. I do wish the company will make a (totally safe) hair detangler for women, and a more “slippery” conditioner to protect hair, but I don’t know if that’s possible. (It might cause back breakouts?)
Hang tight. We're thinking.
