This product contains propylene glycol. While I am not allergic to it, it can commonly cause skin irritation. It made my skin red and itchy and I have stopped using it.

Hi - we're reviewing and updating brands and Vanicream is on our list to review.

@skinsafe team - I would really REALLY appreciate it if skin safe did an overhaul of all vanicream products, as well as reviewed the way they are classified on the site. Vanicream is my holy-grail company but recently I've been dealing with so many issues I don't know what to trust, and most Vanicream products haven't had an ingredient update in 2+ years. Additionally, sometimes I'll click on a product and the next page is different (like cream to lotion) or a product comes up on the app with the barcode scan, but then I can't find the same listing on the website. Thank you so much

My Dermatologist recommended Vani cream products, and I have been using them for the past two months. My hair and skin feel great!

This has really calmed my itchy skin. Seems to put a protected layer on it. Started using it as a face cream too. So far… fine!

Needs reviewed - to get here, I click on vanicream lite lotion from the Vanicream products page. The product being displayed is Vanicream moisturizing Skin cream. Are these the same product? When i check on the Vanicream website - Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion is "A lighter version of Vanicream™ Moisturizing Cream. Formerly known as Vanicream™ Lite Lotion. Helps restore and maintain a normal moisture level. Soothes red, irritated, cracking, or itchy skin. Ideal moisturizing formula for dry skin associated with atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, ichthyosis, and winter itch."

I meant without the word skin but I can't edit that first sentence. Sorry.

Vanicream moisturizing cream with the word skin cream in the title has extra ingredients. In addition to the above it also has PEG-30 stearate, and glyceryl stearate. And it says petrolatum not white petrolatum. So the ingredients changed when the name changed from Vanicream moisturizing skin cream shown here to Vanicream moisturizing cream. Something here bothers me in this new tube. I'm interested in finding out what it is.

My 17-year old daughter used this on her face early morning and again late afternoon and by evening, her face was extremely red and inflamed and she was in a lot of pain. This product was recommended to me by a leading dermatologist as a “pure” product for sensitive skin. There is something in this product that can cause a severe reaction so I don’t recommend it.

Hi - The complete name of BHT is Butylated hydroxytoluene and is a toluene-based ingredient used as a preservative in food and personal care products

BHT- is that Toluene? Reaction to Toluene.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
