Hi, The SkinSAFE "Gluten Free" badge is meant to identify and rate products formulated without added gluten ingredients -- "free of added gluten and other wheat-related ingredients, including barley, rye, and oat" -- and is not meant to be interpreted as 100% gluten free.
If you're looking for products that are guaranteed to be 100% gluten free, you'll need to look at products labeled as 'gluten-free' and do more research with the company to see if their products are actually tested and what the level of gluten is. Products that are not tested may run the risk of cross-contamination during the manufacturing or transportation of the product.
So again, the 'gluten free' badge is not to be taken as an indication of 100% gluten free. It's a rating of products for added gluten ingredients as disclosed by manufacturers. To find products 100% gluten free, you would have to reach out to the manufacturers to find out if they test their products and if they are < 20 ppm

Is this product safe for someone with Celiac disease? Must be free of gluten, wheat, oats, malt, barley and free from risk of cross contamination.
