Hi - there are multiple formulations for Dove bar soap and it's important to review the ingredients on the actual product.

I was always told to use this Dove soap however it isn’t good for my contact dermatitis. This site has it as safe for me to use it is not.

sassyteach, it's just what our design team went with. We understand these lines are confusing and are currently working on redesigning them.

Why isn’t there a line thru BoP?

Sdawson, this particular product has gone through many formulation changes and we even have some listed that are European versions. We try to clean up the duplicates but sometimes we get submissions from a different retailer that is still selling the older formulations. Here is the most current formulation we have listed and it was reviewed in May 2022. I just checked with the brand's website and this is still the current formulation.

MKAM3620, our 100% SkinSAFE score and other percentage ratings are for the general consumer without a personal allergy code (PAC). Since you have a PAC you should only be looking for the green *Safe for Me* badge in green and ignoring the percentage ratings in orange. If it's unsafe for you, then it will say *Not Safe for Me* in red. If using the app, we don't currently show the red *not safe for me* badge so if there is no green *safe for me* badge, then the product is not safe. Our app is outdated and it is currently undergoing a redesign and this issue will be fixed. In the meantime, sometimes it is easier to use our website instead of the app. For further assistance please send us an email at Thank you!

If this is safe for me, why does it say "safety concern"?
Hang tight. We're thinking.
